Kieffer inducted into University of New Orleans Athletics Hall of Fame
Terry Kieffer, son of Donna and the late Bill Kieffer of Lake City and a 1971 Lincoln High School graduate, was inducted into the University of New Orleans (UNO) Athletics Hall of Fame on Nov. 7.
Terry pitched for the UNO Privateers baseball team in l974 and had a historic season, helping lead the Privateers to a national second place finish.
Terry went 15-0, which tied for the most wins in UNO Privateer program history in a single season. He recorded a 2.32 earned run average.
