Kiwanis Club again supports Five for Food
The Lake City Kiwanis Club has again supported the Lake City Food Shelf with a sponsorship donation for the annual Five for Food Initiative of Greater Lake City Community Foundation.
Thirty-two sponsors of individuals, businesses and organizations have pledged over $23,000 to the sponsor pool, which is used to match contributions from the comm- munity.
Five for Food runs until March 31. This year’s goal is $50,000. In eight years, the initiative has provided over $262,000 in donations to the Lake City Food Shelf.
