Kiwanis Club hears about family sailing adventures

Heather Nierman attended a Lake City Kiwanis Club meeting at Lake Pepin Plaza dining hall recently to talk about her sailing adventures in the Caribbean.
Her father often talked about sailing that area but that wish was ended by cancer. Heather and her husband decided they would fullfill that wish after their two daughters graduated from high school. They bought a 25 foot sailboat and taught themselves how to sail on Lake Pepin.
