Kiwanis Club learns about soil preservation

The Lake City Kiwanis Club recently welcomed area resident Dag Knudsen to speak about soil regeneration and preservation.

As a member of the Wabasha County Soil and Water Conservation Board he is on the front line of education about and facilitation of efforts to protect our soil and water.

He expressed sympathy for our farmers because their conservation efforts are made more difficult by antiquated federal regulations.
