Kiwanis Toy Project begins
The Lake City Kiwanis Christmas Toy/Gift Project is under way.
Last year, thanks to the generosity we provided toys, games, books, school supplies and clothing to 46 families with 116 children who live in the Lake City school district (Lake City, Frontenac, Zumbro Falls and Millville).
Toys can be delivered to collection boxes at the following sites: Alliance Bank, Fiesta Foods, Lake City Public Library, Swan’s Jewelry, Anytime Fitness and Mayo Clinic Health System (hospital, care center, and The Bluffs).
People are asked to deliver toys by Dec. 9 and do not wrap them.
