Lake City filmmaker’s roller derby documentary coming to streaming services, DVD

Freestyle Digital Media, the digital film distribution division of Byron Allen’s Allen Media Group, has acquired North American VOD rights to the roller derby documentary “Minnesota Mean,” directed by Lake City resident Dawn Mikkelson.
The film will be available to rent/own on all North American digital HD internet, cable, and satellite platforms, as well as on DVD, starting on July 2, 2024, according to a news release.
