Lake City to Red Wing trail to get big kickoff Oct. 28
Local organizers of the proposed Mississippi Blufflands Trail between Lake City and Red Wing will host an informational open house and trail planning kickoff party at Mount Frontenac Golf Course on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
The event is free and open to the public and will begin with a social hour from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by a meal and brief program.
Local trail organizers, state Department of Natural Resources (DNR) project staff, and legislators and area officials are expected to attend.
