An emmy award-winning actor and writer who died recently at age 70 began her life in Lake City.
Mary Patrick Gleason was born in Lake City on Feb. 23, 1950 to Mary and Clifford Gleason. The family left Lake City when Mary Patrick was a child.
She appeared on dozens of television series over the years, including “Guiding Light,” “Full House,” “Will and Grace,” “Greys Anatomy,” and “Sex in the City.”
