Leah Harteneck wins Patriot’s Pen essay contest

VFW of Lake City Post 8729 and its Auxiliary have announced that Leah Harteneck, a sixth-grade student from St. John’s School, is the first-place winner of the local Patriot’s Pen youth essay contest.
This contest is sponsored by VFW Post 8729 and its Auxiliary and this year’s theme is “How Can I be A Good American?”
