Learn and Earn program helps students explore manufacturing careers

Marty Greer already has a pretty good idea what he wants to do after he graduates from Lincoln High School next year: become a diesel mechanic or a welder.

But a new opportunity to earn money, college credit, and a safety certificate while learning and working in a local manufacturing plant caught his attention.

“I’ve worked on a farm for six years now. That’s kind of what I’ve been doing,” he said. “I was just curious what else was out there.”
