Letter: Circle of Life race supports community, Rotary's foreign exhange efforts

To the editor:
The Lake City Rotary Circle of Life fundraising 5k, 10k, half marathon and kids fun run was a great success.
With just under 200 runners, the Rotary group was able to raise just over $9,000 after all expenses were paid.
Half of the proceeds from the run will be split between the Lake City Food Shelf, The Lake City Educational Foundation and the Lake Pepin Interpretive Centre. Each organization will receive $1,500.
