Letter: Friends of the Lake City Public Library book store celebrates anniversary
To the editor:
Anniversaries are a time to celebrate and reflect. Recently, the Friends of the Lake City Public Library Used Book Store marked its one-year anniversary in its new location in the remodeled library. We thought a progress report to our donors and customers might be in order!
In our first year, the proceeds from the book store amounted to $3,450. The proceeds from the store are given to the city, earmarked for the debt remaining from the library renovation.
