Letter: Place-making can set Lake City apart
To the editor:
Everyone in Lake City knows at some level that place making is important to our community – you just may not know that term.
Think of the former Big Bear property on Lakeshore Drive. Nobody thinks that the way that property looks is good for our community.
When we find a great business for that location – one that makes residents and visitors feel good about Lake City -- that’s a part of place making. The work that Stantec is doing with us to envision the best that Lake City can be – that’s place making.
