Letter: A retro beach in Lake City? Why not?

I recently had a deja vu experience: seeing a swimming beach, with groomed sand and with lifeguards sitting under umbrellas on raised chairs. This view was one I enjoyed and actually lived over the past years when spending summers in Lake City.

Where? The bathing beach at Ohuta Park of course. In those days there also was a high metal slide that we could climb and slide down into the cool water below. Two diving boards, one high and another lower were mounted in the water a bit off shore.
