Library Friends to host new members

The Friends of the Lake City Library are holding a New Membership Event Thursday, Nov. 10 at 5 p.m. in the library meeting room.
The event will include a social and informational time at 5 p.m., Friends of the Library meeting at 5:30 p.m. and an author presentation “Dishing up a Minnesota Thanksgiving” by Teresa Marrone at 6:30 p.m.
Registration is required for the author presentation.
People are encouraged to attend and see what Friends is about.
