Lincoln 'We Day' contingent grows three-fold
Eighty-seven Lincoln High School students attended We Day on Nov. 3 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. This is up from last year when we sent 22. Lake City We Act was awarded more tickets this year due to their efforts last year.
Last year they raised $1,300 to support alternate income for our paired community in Kenya. This money went towards buying 26 goats. We earned Penguin Club status and Disney donated another $1,000 in our name to the village.
