Local medical professionals travel to Jamaica for weeklong mission

Three Lake City medical professionals traveled to Jamaica’s capital and largest city, Kingston, from Jan. 23 to Jan. 30 with Mission Jamaica, an outreach program sponsored by St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi, Minn.

Drs. Neal Olson and Dennis Spano and Maureen Spano, a registered nurse, were members of a 37-member cohort of volunteers who completed public service projects and provided medical care in the city.
