Local Veterans Day programs announced
Veterans Day is Monday, Nov. 11, and local schools have announced programs to honor those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Community members are invited to attend both events.
St. John’s Lutheran School and Roots to Wings Learning Center will have a program at 11 a.m. that day in the school’s gymnasium at 516 W. Chestnut St.
Past programs have included songs and performances by students.
The guest speaker will be Cody Beach, a U.S. Marine and member of the church.
