Longtime diner memorializes Frontenac Cafe in children's book

A hungry and lazy barred owl named Howie flies through the forest at dawn looking for someone to fix him breakfast.

“Who Cooks for You?,” he asks deer, turkeys and everyone else he meets in his failed search. That is, until he meets a little girl who tells him that the Whistle Stop Cafe cooks for her.

Spoiler alert: Howie gets his fill at the long-time Frontenac restaurant.
