Luhmanns named Wabasha County Farm Family of the Year

The Paul and Mamie Luhmann family of Lake City has been named Wabasha County’s 2025 Farm Family of the Year by the University of Minnesota.
Paul and Mamie Luhmann and their family manage 70 registered Montadale ewes and stud rams, as well as a vegetable and cut-flower farm, near Lake City. They purchased the farm in 2012, relocating their flock of black-faced ewes before transitioning to Montadales.
