Manufacturing week begins Oct. 1
Manufacturing Week in Minnesota, a celebration of manufacturing and its impact on the economy, will be Oct. 1-7.
Events, tours, and educational sessions about manufacturing are planned around the state, including in Lake City, according to the Lake City Chamber of Commerce.
“Last year, the Lake City focus was on ‘Where in the World is Lake City.’ This year, a closer look is being made to look at where Lake City manufacturers ship within the United States,” said Michelle Larson, Lake City Chamber of Commerce executive director.
