Many clergy have come out of congregation at St. Mark's

Because St. Mark’s had decided to operate without interim rectors the deacon Rev. Barbara von Haaren continued her pastoral and spiritual work.
During that time, Diane Nihart was Rev. von Harren’s administrative assistant and between them the Christmas celebration of 1986 became an ecumenical program involving several churches from the Lake City community.
In January of 1987 the interior of the nave and chancel were redecorated.
