Mayo staff will talk fiber at library on Nov. 17

The Lake City Public Library (LCPL) invites the public on Thursday, Nov. 17, at 5 p.m., to join Mayo Clinic health professionals Amanda Halls, RD, LD, and Jessica Nelson, RD Intern, to learn about what fiber is – the different types and the role each plays in your diet.

“You’ll also learn how fiber may help improve your overall health, especially for disease prevention, support of a healthy gut microbiome and immune function, plus ways to include it into your diet,” the library said in a news release.
