MobilePak event to feed starving children comes to Lake City Aug. 24 and 25
In August 2017 the first Hiawatha Valley MobilePack was held in Plainview bringing together over 600 volunteers from Lake City, Wabasha, Kellogg, Plainview, Millville, Elgin and beyond to pack nearly 109,000 meals. That is enough food to feed 298 kids for one year, according host Cate Sprout.
Planning is underway for the second annual Hiawatha Valley MobilePack, a local Feed My Starving Children event.
This year’s event will be in Lake City on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 24 and 25.
