More indoors coming to one of city's prime outdoor attractions

Hok-Si-La Park in Lake City will begin the 2018 camping season with twice as many sleeper cabins.

The first three cabins, completed in 2016 and funded with help from the Casey T. O’Neil Foundation, were a hit, Park Manager Joanne Klees said.

Climate controlled and wheelchair accessible, the 16-foot-by-24-foot cabins offer people with special needs a chance to experience the park.

“There’s no problem moving around with a wheelchair in there,” she said.
