National Day of Prayer event planned for May 2 in Patton Park
Everyone is invited to celebrate the National Day Prayer on Thursday, May 2 at Patton Park at 6 p.m.
Many of the Lake City churches will be there to pray for national, state, and local leaders.
“This holy time of prayer is not to promote or condemn any leader,” organizers said in a news release. “This is a nonpartisan, nondenominational gathering to pray for our federal, state and local leaders. Our local leaders have been invited so we may pray for them in person.
