Neighborhoods gather for National Night Out
Neighbors gathered Aug. 6 at parties around the city to mark National Night Out, an event intended to enhance “the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community,” according to the official National Night Out website.
Lake City Police and other emergency personnel stopped by parties to share a meal and visit with the people gathered there.
One of the local parties this year was at the home of Frank and Judy Siebenaler on Lakeshore Drive.
