New directors arrive as port authority transition continues

Lake City is in the process of winding down its Economic Development Authority and replacing it with a Port Authority.

Helping to guide that transition are two new arrivals.

Beth Tomscak and Cailin Richard are replacing Kjellgren Alkire as directors of the city’s economic development agency.

Like Alkire, they are employed by Community and Economic Development Associates (CEDA) and work for the city under a contract with CEDA.
