New Hope Church plans free swap and spaghetti feed on Nov. 8
New Hope Church, located at 302 N. Prairie St. in Lake City, hosted their first “Common Needs Swap” on Saturday, Oct. 25, encouraging the local community to “Bring what you can and take what you need,” the church said in a news release.
Those with excess goods including clothing, household items, tools, supplies, small furniture, books, toys, decor, and non-perishable foods brought them to New Hope Church to leave for others to come and freely take, meeting physical and practical needs.
