New Hope Church plans outdoor worship at Hok-si-la Park

New Hope Church will be meeting and worshipping outdoors for its Sunday service at the Hok-Si-La Park Chapel at 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 20.

The outdoor worship is weather permitting—if it is raining, they will meet at the church at 302 N. Prairie St.

Hok-Si-La’s chapel has log benches, so the church advises bringing your own lawn chairs and bug spray.

After the service, they will have their annual church picnic at Shelter #2, which is a potluck luncheon. The public is welcome to attend this special outdoor service and potluck lunch.
