David Puetz could no longer manage the pain in his knee following an injury he suffered way back in high school. For years, the 62-year-old Wabasha resident was told he was too young and active for a procedure such as a total knee replacement, so he carried on with treatments that dulled the pain, but never fixed the source of it.
