A new tradition begins Saturday with first Christmas by the Lake
The Shops of Lake City are holding the first annual Christmas by the Lake event in downtown Lake City on Saturday, Nov. 29.
From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., people can visit member stores for holiday themed activities and sales. At the center of it all will be the 100 block of East Center Street, where people can find even more holiday activities.
Saturday is (not coincidentally) Small Business Saturday, and the shops are hoping events like this one encourage people to do some or all of their holiday shopping locally.
