Nichols given key to the city

Lake City Mayor Brian Quinn presented the first key to the city of his mayoral tenure to his predecessor, Mark Nichols, at the beginning of the regular city council meeting on March 10.

Nichols was first elected in 2016 and re-elected in 2020. He opted not to seek a third term in 2024. Quinn, then a city council member, was elected mayor in the November general election and took office earlier this year.
