No fair, they still cleaned
Even though the 2020 Wabasha County Fair was canceled due to COVID-19, several fair board members, friends, family members met on Saturday, June 27, to do grounds clean up and routine maintenance, according to a news release.
Afterwards they conducted a meeting and had lunch provided by Barb Petit (president) and Marcella Kahn (secretary).
At the 2019 Wabasha Fair the Red Cross was present for a blood drive. Since this years fair was canceled the board decided to go ahead and sponsor the Red Cross blood drive.
