Nurse to speak to wellness group
Julie Woodruff will be the speaker at a Wellness for Women event presented at First Lutheran Church, Lake City, on Saturday, April 16, at 10 a.m.
The presentation, “Be Still…Be Well,” based on the Bible verse “Be still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10), will speak to the distractions, ruminations, multitasking and stress in women’s daily lives and give practical recommendations about ways to respond to stressors through prayer, meditation, forgiveness, gratitude and mindfulness practices.
