Old Frontenac to be host for base ball, tours

On Saturday, Sept. 26 people can come down to Wakondiota Park in Frontenac for a late summer celebration of 1860s base ball. The base ball festival goes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is free of charge.
People who want to learn more about Frontenac can sign up for a 90-minute tour of the area’s historic buildings. Tours will depart at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Walking tour tickets are $7 for non-members and $10 for members of the Goodhue County Historical Society. Concessions will be available for purchase at Wakondiota Park.
