Organizers hope to grow the coven after the first annual witches dance

Witches congregated in Patton Park on Oct. 28 to perform at the first annual witches dance.
“I’ve watched the Witches of Wabasha dance under the bridge in Wabasha for many years,” said Eva Dankers, one of the organizers. “Connie [Atkinson] is my hairstylist and we’ve talked about doing it in Lake City for a couple of years and we finally decided to make it happen in coordination with Fall Fest events.”
