Pass It On giving spree continues with Lake City Food Shelf donation

A large crew of volunteers working at the Lake City Food Shelf on Thursday, Dec. 16, welcomed Pastor David Badgley when he arrived with a donation of $2,000 from the Pass It On Thrift Shop, owned and operated by the First Congregational Church, UCC, in Lake City.

The donation came as an extra gift from the shop and the church congregation, which in November provided the Food Shelf with certificates that are currently being distributed to individuals and families to be redeemed at Lake City Fresh Market for a Christmas turkey.
