People’s Energy Coop announces grant recipients
People’s Energy Cooperative Operation Round Up Trust Board provided $26,000 in grants this quarter to the following area organizations:
• The Landing, MN (Rochester) - $2,500 to help provide meals for the homeless at the day center in Rochester
• American Legion, Wm. T. McCoy Post 92 (Rochester) - $3,700 to help construct a storage shed adjacent to their facility
• Byron Sportsmen and Conservation Club - $3,000 toward renovations and repair of the club house’s enclosed porch
