Peters shifts focus to veterans issues

City of Lake City employees, council and board members, and others stopped by the City Hall conference room Feb. 2 to thank Andru Peters for his service to the city.
Peters didn’t win reelection in a crowded City Council field last fall.
Since then he’s focused his attention on the American Legion, which the Army veteran has been a member of for 48 years.
“I’m doing what I’ve done in the past,” Peters said, “except now it’s with the Legion.”
