Plein air fest goes on despite COVID-19
The 14th annual Red Wing Plein Air — plein air is French for “outdoors”— features 43 artists who have had 2.5 weeks (June 5-23) to complete three paintings, which will then be judged for cash prizes totally over $2,700 and exhibited at the Red Wing Arts (RWA) Depot Gallery beginning Saturday, June 27.
“Red Wing Plein Air activities offer a rare opportunity to view visual artists in action and to purchase original scenic artwork of the area,” according to Red Wing Arts.
