Prairie Street Jazz performs Aug. 3 at Ohuta Park

Prairie Street Jazz, a community and student jazz band under the direction of Lincoln High School band teacher Eric Stashek, will perform a free concert Saturday, Aug. 3, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Ohuta Park in Lake City.

“This dynamic group bridges the gap between timeless jazz classics and the vibrant energy of modern-day funk,” a poster for the event reads. “Our ensemble is dedicated to celebrating the rich heritage of jazz while exploring contemporary styles, creating a unique and engaging musical experience.”
