Preschool kids get books from Kiwanis

Judy Burfeind (right) with the Lake City Kiwanis Club reads to a group of three- and four-year-olds at Bluff View recently.  The books are provided to the Kiwanis by the Southeast Minnesota Initiative Foundation (SMIF) at no charge.  The Kiwanis in turn gives the books to the students to keep as their own.  There were four groups of about 30 students each that participated.
