Public flu shot clinics coming to schools, including Lake City

Lake City Public Schools are hosting community flu clinics in the coming weeks.

The first will be at Lincoln High School on Oct. 10 from 3:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Bluff View Elementary will host a clinic on Oct. 22 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The community clinics are open to the public. Anyone age six months and older is welcome.

Flu shots and nasal mist are provided by Homeland Health Services, a private vaccinating company which is able to bill most insurances. People without insurance are also welcome to attend.
