Public library announces owl events for children and adults

The Lake City Public Library (LCPL) invites the public to two programs offered by the International Owl Center on Thursday, March 17, at the Lake City Public Library. These programs are for children and adults.

The first program, Build an Owl: Learn about Owl Adaptions, is for children and takes place from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Participants will learn firsthand about owl adaptions by picking out pieces and parts that belong to an owl and putting them into a “magic” box. If correct, a live owl comes out from under the magic box for a visit.
