Quist to share “God’s Angry Man” at history fair Oct. 27
Friends of the Florence Town Hall will host a Florence Township History Fair Saturday, Oct. 27, from 1 p.m. to 4 pm. at the town hall, 33915 Hwy 61 in Frontenac.
A 2 p.m. author B. Wayne Quist with his book “God’s Angry Man” the incredible journey of Private Joe Haan tells the story of war (WWII) through the eyes of those citizen soldiers who were there. Through his Uncle Joe’s eloquent letters, poems and other writings, Quist gives a unique perspective on the war that changed the world.
