Residents re-imagine Florence Township’s future at summer workshops

About 30 Florence Township residents gathered at their Town Hall in Frontenac Station Saturday for one of four summer workshops focused on updating the township’s ground-breaking Comprehensive Land Use Plan.
What would make so many people give up a lovely Saturday morning in June to work on something that sounds so dry and complicated? (They did it on May 30, too.)
