Retirees reconvene around new roundtable
Every town has at least one, some have several.
They are morning roundtables where retired men and businessmen gather each weekday morning for coffee.
Usually it is the same group of men who meet every morning to catch up on the day’s news.
The Lake City Burger King has had such a roundtable group that meets in the morning and now, thanks to extensive remodeling, the men have a round table to sit around.
The table was added to the dining area when the restaurant was closed for three weeks recently for extensively remodeling.
