Reunited Rio Nido performs Oct. 15 in Stockholm

Minneapolis-based retro jazz trio Rio Nido will perform at WideSpot Performing Arts Center on Oct. 15 at 7:00 p.m.

After three decades of pursuing diverging professional paths, the members of the popular late-1970’s jazz trio Rio Nido have reunited, bringing their unique renditions of 1930’s and 40’s tunes to audiences again.

At the height of their popularity, Rio Nido appeared regularly on Garrison Keillor’s “A Prairie Home Companion” and played gigs in downtown Minneapolis four to seven nights a week. They also recorded three albums.
