Ropers romp for Girls Day Out
Three might be company, but over 30? That’s a romp.
And Lake City had one on its hands Saturday with over two dozen people dressed as the character “Helen Roper” from the sitcom “Three’s Company.”
“The first annual Roper Romp was everything we dreamed of and more,” said Tess Stone, one of the organizers of the event, part of the annual Girls Day Out shopping promotion in Lake City. “With over 30 Helen’s attending from Lake City, Rochester, around the Cities, several from Wisconsin and even a Helen from Portland, Ore.!
